It was a day of honour for High Chief Olawale Adetuyi as he was conferred with the chieftancy tittle, Saloro of Ibuji land by the Onibuji of Ibuji, his royal highness, Oba Folagbade Ojo.
Ibuji, in Ifedore local government area of Ondo state went agog on the day as songs of celebration rent the air right from the palace, where the ceremony was held to some parts of the town
Performing the ceremony before dignitaries who graced the occasion, Oba Ojo said High Chief Adetuyi was worthy of the honour in view of his contributions to the community and humanity in general.
The monarch advised Nigerians to always contribute to whatever that would make the society great, especially where they are leaving.
Oba Ojo stressed that working together in harmony would bring rapid development to the society.
He emphasised that even though the tittle, Saloro of lbujiland bestowed on High Chief Adetuyi Olawale was only restricted to the family of the Adetuyis, the current holder deserved it
Responding, High Chief Adetuyi thanked Oba Ojo and the entire people of Ibujiland for the honour.
He promised not to relent in giving back to the ancient town, calling on his colleagues to put hands together for the development of the community.
