The need to revamp the Nation’s economy and revitalize its growth has been considered as a Frontline policy of the Federal government with the intention to improve the standard of living of the citizens.

To this end, Nigerians have been called upon to promote and Patronize locally made products.

The Director NOA in Ondo state,  Mrs Adelayo Adefolalu Made the call during an Advocacy visit to the Palace of the traditional ruler of Uso community, the Oloba of Uso in Owo LGA.

Mrs Adefolalu stressed the need for people to patronize Made in Nigeria goods and services that will revive the local manufacturing industries and create more Jobs to tackle the unemployment in the country.

She enlightened the monarch and the palace Chiefs on the benefits of Patronizing made in Nigeria products and services towards growing the economy, Creation of Jobs for the teeming youths and reduction in criminal activities as the youth will be actively engaged in local production activities.

Responding, the Oloba of Uso Community, HRH Oba Ademola Adebiyi Oyinade Olanipekun lll lauded the efforts of NOA and thanked the goverment for the initiatives of the Change Begins with me Campaigns and promised that the message of Patronizing made in Nigeria products and services will be spread across to his subjects.

Meanwhile the State  NOA Director  has also called on the people of the state in an interview session with the Reporters of Orange 94.5FM Radio during a press conference urging all citizens to imbibe the culture of promoting and Patronizing made in Nigeria goods and services..

She noted  the campaign was part of the Economic Recovery and Growth Plan (ERGP) Strategy and National Economic Sustainability Programme (NESP) of the Federal Government to reposition the country’s economy.

Mrs Adefolalu noted that the patronage of locally made products would create more jobs, reduce poverty and also boost the development of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise (MSMEs) across the country.
