The Ondo state police command has apprehended four suspected armed robbers in two different locations in the state.
Three of the robbers, Victor Bright, 21, AbdulRahim Mohammed, 22 and Friday Emmanuel, 27 were apprehended in Owo, headquarters of Owo Local Government Area of the state for snatching a boxer motorcycle and mobile phone.
Confessing to the crime when they were paraded at the state police headquarters, leader of the gang, Bright stated that the robbery was their first operation.
Bright said one of the suspects had escaped while the motorcycle and the phone were sold for N130,000.
Also, one Mohammed Sule, 23 was arrested at Shasha area of Akure for robbing some houses within the axis.
Speaking, the Police Public Relations Officer in Ondo state, SP Funmi Odunlami, explained the suspects would be charged to court upon the conclusion of investigations.
