Ondo State Governor, Mr Oluwarotimi Akeredolu has advocated restructuring as the only way of curbing the numerous challenges confronting the nation, particularly insecurity.
The Governor Stated this in his June 12 message through a Press release signed by the Governor’s chief press secretary Richard Olatunde.
Governor Akeredolu said it was time to deepen the democratic values that the democracy day represents.
He further stated that in a democratic setting,the Chief Executives of states should not be Chief Security officers without the prerequisite for necessary security measures.
While advocating the creation of state police to tackle the security challenges of the country ,Governor Akeredolu said Ondo state is still in pain over the killing that took place at saint Francis catholic church Owo last week assuring that the killers would be fished out.
