Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu has given an assurance that all funds donated by individuals, groups and authorities for the victims of Owo church attack will be appropriately utilized.
The governor gave the assurance when he received representatives of the All saints’ church Jericho, Ibadan, Oyo state who were on a condolence visit over the killing of some worshipers in Owo.
Governor Akeredolu who is a member of the All Saints’ church Jericho, Ibadan appreciated the church for its constant intercession for Ondo state and charged Christians to be more prayerful.
Earlier, Chairman of the council of All Saints’ church Jericho, Ibadan, Dr Onnuola Adewunmi while sympathizing with the people of Ondo state lamented the high rate of insecurity in Nigeria describing it as worrisome.
Dr Adewunmi and his team presented a cheque of an undisclosed amount to the governor for the victims on behalf of All Saints’ church Jericho, Ibadan, Oyo State.
