There was commotion at Semu-Semu Motor Park Ikare Akoko in Ondo State on Wednesday morning as a suspected kidnapper, a woman, was arrested by a large crowd.
It was gathered that the suspected kidnapper seized the opportunity that the mother of the child was not around when she allegedly picked up the one and half year old child and put her on her back.
It was gathered that as the suspect was trying to escape, a neighbor of noticed the strange woman and raised alarm for help before she was caught.
While searching her bag an Android phone was found with many missed calls and messages.
The victim has been handed over to an Ikare Akoko police divisional police station.
Efforts to speak to the divisional police officer Supritendent of police olatujoye Akinwande was not successful.
