As Muslims in Ondo State and across the nation prepares for Eid-el-Kabir celebration, the State Amotekun Corps Commander, Akogun Adetunji Adeleye and other security agencies have assured people of the state, of a hitch-free festival.
The Corps Commander also reiterated that there won’t be any hiding place for criminals, warning them to steer clear of the state before, during and after the Sallah festival.
Akogun Adeleye who doubles as Special Adviser to Ondo State Governor on Security Matters, gave the assurance during a massive and well coordinated ‘Show of Force’ across the three Senatorial Districts of the state in preparedness of a peaceful Sallah holiday.
According to Amotekun Commander, the ‘Show of Force’ in Ondo State includes the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, the Nigerian Army, the Nigeria Police Force, the Directorate of Secret Service and the Amotekun Corps.
The Amotekun Corps Commander, however, appealed to residents to provide the Corps with credible and factual information about criminals and their activities in their various domains.
