The Ondo state government has distributed fifty operational vehicles to security agencies in the state to boost their operations
Governor Akeredolu while handing over the vehicles in Akure said investment in security can never be a waste in view of the level of insecurity in the country.
While lamenting series of security breaches , the governor appealed for a rejig of the nations security apparatus for better performance.
Earlier,the special adviser to the governor on security matters and the commandant of AMOTEKUN Chief Adetunji Adeleye while appreciating the governor said the vehicles would aid their fight against all forms of insecurity.
The Nigeria police force, Nigerian Army, the DSS, AMOTEKUN and the NSCDC got the vehicles for their operations.
