The Redeemed Christian Church of God RCCG has called on eligible Nigerians to fully participate in the nation’s Electoral process and elect credible leaders into power in the 2023 General Election.

The Assistant General Overseer RCCG in charge of the Northern Regions, Pastor Ezekiel Odeyemi made the call in Abuja during this year’s Redeemers Men Fellowship Region 10 with the theme “In His Image”

Represented by the Regional coordinator of the Men Fellowship, Pastor Paul Adebisi, the Assistant General Overseer maintained that the country could only experience peace, unity and National transformation when only those who fear God get into leadership positions.

Pastor Odeyemi said prayers and fasting were not sufficient hence there was need for all eligible Nigerians to avail themselves of the ongoing INEC Continuos Voter Registration to enable them choose the right leaders that will protect the rights of all Nigerians.

A former Minister of Aviation in the late president Umaru Musa Yar’adua Administration, Pastor Babatunde Omotoba emphasized that politics is not evil and not for only a selected few hence Christians must take part in the nation’s democratic governance.

According to the former Minister, it will be a big decision making time in 2023 and Christains must make the right decisions.

Pastor Omotoba therefore appealed to the Church to mobilize their members and be part of choosing those that would lead them for the next dispensation.

In a remark, the Chairman of the RCCG Region 10 Men Fellowship, Pastor Michael Oluwole said the annual convention always provide opportunity to remind Men of their responsibilities at Home, Church and the Society with the present economic realities.

Pastor Oluwole encouraged men not to allow the economic challenges in the country affect their homes and health.

The Cleric also stressed the need for Youths seeking white collar jobs to be creative and seek for numerous good opportunities available to meet their needs.

Highlights of the convention included Health Talks, Man and Politics, Modern Agriculture, Peaceful family and Special prayers for Divine Intervention to the challenges in the country.
