There are indications that Ondo State Pilgrims will be airlifted back to Nigeria on the 26th of July 2022.
A source with the pilgrims in Saudi Arabia told Positive FM that the indication came from the officials of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria , NAHCON.
Meanwhile as part of the concluding part of the 2022 Hajji rites , the Ondo State Pilgrims organized special prayers for Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu and the entire state.
The chairman , Muslim Welfare Board , Alhaji Adams Chandy appreciated the governor for his kind gesture towards Islam in the State.
In a sermon , an Islamic Scholar ,Sheikh Ajiboye Lagbaji who described Akeredolu as an exemplary leader cautioned Nigerians against cursing the country and the leaders.
Report says the pilgrims were in high spirit as they look forward to rejoining their loved ones at home.
