Following the declaration of PDP Candidate, Senator Ademola Adeleke PDP as the winner of Osun 2022 Governorship election, all is quiet at government house, base of the incumbent governor, Adegboyega Oyetola who lost in the contest.
Radio Nigeria reports that the usual visit to the governor by loyalists and supporters ahead of the election was not in place.
All the Governors that came to support Oyetola have all returned to their states as results were being reeled out at the collation centre.
Efforts to speak with the Governor Oyetola on Sunday morning yielded no result as he was said to be resting because he went in very late.
Same was the case at the Oyetola re-election campaign office located at Ogo -Oluwa area along Osogbo-Gbongan expressway as no activity was going on when Radio Nigeria visited the place.
Meanwhile, jubilation was witnessed in some parts of Osogbo, the Osun state capital.
At Owode Ede, junction jubilants on motorcycles who defied the early morning shower took over some sections of the dual carriage way singing and dancing to express joy over the Election result.
