Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu has advised Nigerians to exhibit the attitude of developing others for greater nation

Governor Akeredolu gave the advice at the inauguration of Nigerian Bar Association, NBA, Akure Bar Centre, named the Aare Afe Babalola House at Oke-eda, Akure in Ondo State

Represented by the secretary to the state government, Princess Oladunni Odu, the governor  opined that the more Nigerians raised one another, the better for the society

Describing law as a noble profession, Governor Akeredolu encouraged the practitioners to emulate the legal icon, Are Afe Babalola whose commitment to humanity knew no bounds.

 

Speaking on, the legal profession education and philanthrophy in Nigeria: an examination of the philosophy and contribution of Aare Afe Babalola, the guest speaker Professor Yemi Akinseye-George urged Nigerians to disallow poor background from serving as barrier to their greatness in life.

The former attorney general and commissioner for justice, Adekola olawoye and the NBA chairman, Akure Branch, Rotimi Olorunfemi recognised efforts of the legal practitioners towards the Bar Centre

The Akure NBA chairman particularly commended chief Babalola who was represented by the provost, Faculty of law, Afe Babalola University, Adoekiti, professor Tunde Rebisi

In attendance were some legal luminaries, political and traditional rulers, including the state’s Deputy governor, Lucky Ayedatiwa, attorney general and commissioner for justice, sir Charles Titiloye, the chief executive egalitarian mission of Africa, Dr Kayode Ajulo and the Owaale of Ikare Akoko, Oba Adegbite Adeyemi Adedoyin.
