The Iralepo Of Isinkan, Oba Olugbenga Ojo and Positive FM General manager, Mrs Olubunmi Olalere
Nigerians should stop blaming one ethnic group or the other for the problems bedeviling the country.
The Iralepo of Isinkan ,Oba Olugbenga Ojo gave this view when the management team of Radio Nigeria Positive FM led by the General Manager , Mrs Olubunmi Olalere paid him a courtesy visit in his palace.
The monarch was of the view that the myriads of problems facing the country was being orchestrated by evil people cutting across all ethnic groups and therefore enjoined the people to unite with a common front to defeat the evil people.
He challenged the media to guard against fake news and ensure that information disseminated to the public was properly verified to avoid igniting disharmony in the society.
Speaking on Isinkan as the host Community of Positive FM , Oba Ojo appealed to the management of Radio Nigeria to restore “Oke Isinkan ” as part of the station’s address on air.
The monarch claimed that the location of Positive FM historically and rightfully belong to Isinkan hence the need to identify with the host Community in the station’s address on air according to the rule guiding broadcast stations.
Other palace chiefs who spoke on the occasion including High Chief Abidakun Olasehinde , High Chief Sir James Kolawole and Chief Bayo Ayiloge appreciated the operations of Positive FM.
In a response , the General Manager Positive FM , Mrs Olalere congratulated Oba Ojo as the new monarch of Isinkan with a pledge that the management of FRCN would look into the community’s request.
