Civil Servants in Ondo State and Others in Quest for Knowledge Can Now Utilize the opportunity provided by the Ondo State Public Service Training Institute PSTI, in Akure to Achieve this
This Was the Stand of Speakers at the Flag Off of additional training programmes at the Institution
The Two Programmes are Executive Management Course for Education Managers ( Education Officers and Teachers) and Executive Management Course in Public Sector Management for Public Servants
At the formal introduction of the Programme in Akure, the Outgoing Head of Service Ondo State, Pastor Niran Adeyemo Said to advance in Knowledge required Continuous Skill especially for those in Public Service
Pastor Adeyemo Noted That the Focus of the Institution Was to Better the Society in Training Leaders and Urged That Knowledge Acquired Should Be Ploughed Back into the System .
Earlier in an Opening Address, the PSTI, Director General, Mr Jide Ekpobomini noted that the Institute provided a template for excellence in accordance with Global Best Practices.
Mr Ekpobomini added that the PSTI had recruited the professionals in the Academic sphere to Impact Knowledge on Civil Servants
In a Goodwill Message, Special Adviser to Governor Akeredolu on Education, Dr Olawumi Ilawole Stressed that emphasis should not be placed on obtaining certificate alone but also to acquire training in order to Align Public Service With emerging Trends.
