The Oniku of Iku quarters in Ikare Akoko, Hig Chief Mukaila Bello and three others have regained their freedom.

They were abducted along owo-Ikare road Thursday evening.

The victims were released on Saturday evening on Owo-Akoko road and they have been taken to undisclosed hospital for medical attention.

It was not clear as at the press time if any ransom was paid to secure their release.

The Owa-Ale of Ikare Akoko, Oba Adeleke Adegbite-Adedoyin who expressed joy over the release of his abducted High Chief and his other subjects, appreciated the Ondo State Governor, Arakunrin Rotimi Akeredolu, his cabinet members and all Security agencies for their efforts in securing the release of the victims.

Oba Adegbite-Adedoyin who said Governor Akeredolu had committed a lot in improving security architecture of the State especially recent donation of well-equipped patrol vehicles to security agencies, advised the federal government and the people of Ondo State to continue to give full support to the state government to make the state more secured.
