The Head, Akintimehin ruling house, Ore, Prince Enoch Olatomide has appealed to the royal family in Ore to reach a compromise and nominate Ojomu of Ore Kingdom, High Chief Prince Monday Sawoju as the next Olore of Ore in Odigbo council area of Ondo State.
Prince Omoniyi made the appeal while speaking with newsmen in Ore.
According to the head of Akintimehin ruling House , the expected nomination of Prince Sawoju is in line with the chieftaincy declaration of Olore , the Oracle Consultation and that of the Kingmakers.
Also speaking , the Odofin Lobun of Ore , High Chief (Mrs) Esther Ojo Olatomide, Mr Fatai Akande and youth leader , Mr Olowo-Eko Olorunjeda said many residents had expressed support for the nomination of Prince Monday going by his antecedents in seeking the welfare of the people and the development of Ore in general.
This they said included curtailing the endsars protest during which he protected government’s property from being attacked , relocation and rehabilitation of the chief magistrate court and firm support for the government .
Others who spoke believed Sawoju nomination would bring peace and cooperation to Ore.
The stool of Olore became vacant two years ago following the demise of the late Oba Johnson Akintomide.
