The Dero ruling house of Ore royal family in Odigbo council area has petitioned Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu over what it called illegal nomination of Prince Monday Sawoju to the Olore stool
Counsel to the family, Mr Tope Temokun in a release to newsmen in Akure says the nomination of Sawoju is wrong and inciting.
The statement explains that the public announcement of a nominee circumvent due process of law even as the hearing of the appeal on the stool comes up on october 17, 2022 at the court of appeal.
It also alleges that some authorities of odigbo council area were taking biased steps to validate the illegal nomination of Akintimehin ruling house.
The counsel therefore appealed to Governor Akeredolu to call the council authorities and Akintimehin family to order to abide by lawful process and avoid a breach of peace in Ore.
