Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu has sworn in a new commissioner in Ondo state, Mr. Amidu Takuro.
Mr Takuro replaces Mrs Yetunde Adeyanju, the former commissioner for Physical Planning and Urban Development who resigned her appointment following a cabinet reshuffle in July this year.
Performing the ceremony at the Exco chamber, governor’s office, Alagbaka Akure, Akeredolu charged him to work towards the growth of the state’s economy.
After taking the oath of office, the new commissioner Mr. Takuro appreciated God for the opportunity and thanked Governor Akeredolu for considering him worthy of the appointment.
Mr. Takuro who represents Odigbo local government promised to align with the REDEEMED Agenda of the Akeredolu’s administration.
Some of those who graced the occasion included members of Mr Takuro’s family including his Wife, deputy governor, Mr Lucky Aiyedatiwa and other members of the state executive council.
