The National Broadcasting Commission (NBC) says it has revoked the broadcast license of over 50 media including Silverbird TV, Rhythm, AIT , Raypower and others.
The commission said the affected media were suspended for failing to renew their licences.
The Director General of the commission, Mr Balarabe Shehu has directed state offices of the commission to liaise with the security agencies to ensure that the operations of the affected station are shutdown within the next 24hours 24hrs.
