The Christian Association of Nigeria, Ondo State chapter, has commiserated with the governor of Ondo state, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, the Owo community and the Anglican communion over the death of his mother, Evangelist, Grace Akeredolu.
The association described late Akeredolu as a prayer warrior and a virtuous woman whose entire life was dedicated to the service of God and humanity.
The chairman, Very Rev. Fr. Anselm Ologunwa in a statement by the director of information and communications, Daisi admonished Arakunrin Akeredolu to take solace in God for ensuring a gracious exit for mama who has no doubt lived a fulfilled life.
Rev Ologunwa noted that though death is inevitable and painful but however observed that Evangelist Grace Akeredolu has devoted her time and resources to the training of her children and indeed left an indelible mark that is worthy of emulation.
The chairman prayed God to grant the governor, his other siblings and entire Akeredolu family the fortitude and grace to bear the great loss.
May the soul of mama and souls of other faithful continue to rest in the bosom of the Lord.
