The Olowo of Owo and Paramount Ruler of Owo Land,His Imperial Majesty Oba (Dr) Ajibade Gbadegesin Ogunoye III, has commiserated with the United Kingdom over the passage of Her Majesty,Queen Elizabeth.

In a letter of condolence personally signed by the Monarch, addressed to the British High Commissioner CATRIONA LAING,and released to the Media, Oba Ogunoye said, the life and times of Her Majesty were not only historical, but very remarkable and of great positive impact across the world

Oba Ogunoye, in an encomium showered on the late Head of the Commonwealth, posited that during her life time, she provided exemplary leadership for all even beyond the Commonwealth, to become the global compass and reference on the best positive way to reshape the world.

The revered Monarch who was appreciative of the concerns of the Government and good people of Great Britain, particularly the British Parliament for the condolences and voices expressed against the dastard terror attack at the Saint Francis Catholic Church in the ancient Kingdom on 5th of June,2022.

Kabiyesi was of the view that, the discussion as carried out, raised consciousness on the need to find lasting solutions to the challenges of insecurity in Nigeria.
