The Ondo state government wants residents to be security conscious in order to nip in the bud criminals activities in the state.
Governor oluwarotimi Akeredolu gave the charge in Akure at the send-off ceremony for the Retiring zonal Director, Radio Nigeria Ibadan national station, Mrs Bolatito Joseph.
Speaking on the occasion Ondo state Governor oluwarotimi Akeredolu represented by a director, ministry of information , Mrs Toyin Onisile stressed that the collaboration of everybody would help the security agencies address successfully the ugly activities of criminals in the society.
Governor Akeredolu however described the Retiring Zonal Director, Mrs Bolatito Joseph as a hard-working woman.
In their goodwill messages, the iralepo of isikan, Oba Oluwagbemiga Olofin Adimula, the chairman of the occasion, and Ondo state commissioner for women affairs, Princess Adebunmi Osadun Enlogised the doggedness of the Retiring zonal Director.
A one time Executive Director of Ibadan National Station, Chief Sanya Oyinsan pleaded with the federal government to adequately fund radio Nigeria to continue to serve as a pacesetter in Nigerian Broadcast industry.
Earlier in a welcome address, the General Manager radio Nigeria Positive FM Akure, Mrs OLUBUNMI OLALERE said Mrs Bolatito Joseph was a compassionate Boss.
Some Positive fm staff, Including, Head of News Unit, Mrs Dupe Isename, Head Of Programmes unit, Mrs Busola Oladimeji, Ondo NUJ Chairman, Mr Leke Adegbite and a senior officer, Mrs Tolu Onifade said the impacts and achievements of Mrs Joseph would remain indelible.
Thanking God for the journey so far, the celebrant, Mrs Bolatito Joseph pleaded with Ondo state government to assist the station and thanked Positive FM the honour done her.
The Zonal Director Mrs Bolatito Joseph will officially pen down on the 7th of october 2022.
The celebration attracted dignitaries who came to honour Mrs Joseph with much love and took to the dance floor with the members of the Ondo state cultural troupe and Gospel singer, Mercy Alayo on the band stand.
