Residents of orioge estate, ifesowapo community, owode, Oba-ile in Akure North local government area have called on ondo state government to help reconstruct the two bridges leading to the community.

Chairman of the community, Mr henry Fatomoye who made the appeal on behalf of the community said the residents had become helpless following the recent rain fall that washed away the bridge.

Mr Fatomoye noted that the road had also become impassable for the residents as vehicle owners now parked their cars at the entrance of the estate exposing them to thieves and vandals.

Another resident, Mr Abu Jimoh said that they had to cross the bridge on wooden plank which posed great danger to users.

Both Mr Fatomoye and Mr Jimoh appealed to the state government to come to the aid of the community to make life bearable for her residents.
