Three secondary schools in Ondo state have won the integrity clubs competition awards put together to instill patriotism in the upcoming generation
The event was organised by the National Orientation Agency , NOA ondo state.
The schools are New Era High School Ileoluji, CAC grammar School Akure and Oyemekun Grammar School Akure for becoming First, second and third positions
The NOA integrity clubs competition awards was instituted to encourage the upcoming youths to imbibe discipline, integrity, dignity of labour, social justices, religious tolerance, self reliance and patriotism.
Presenting the awards to the winners , the Director General, NOA, Dr Garba Abari represented by ondo state NOA director, Mrs Adelayo Adefolalu commended the three schools that won the second edition of the competition .
He urged Nigerians, particularly students, to uphold ethical and moral living for a progressive society.
Receiving the award , the principal of New Era High school Ile-oluji which came first, Mrs Kehinde Adegeye promised the agency that the school would continue to instill integrity behaviors on the students for a better society.
At CAC grammar school AKURE, the principal, Mrs Oluwapelumi Adetimehin expressed delight with the performance of the students.
Also, the principal of Oyemekun grammar school, Mr Okeowo Ogunleye commended the agency for always championing good conduct among the citizenry.
The schools integrity clubs coordinators, Mrs Oluwatosin Akinsiku, Mrs Ruth Ojo and Mr Philip Ajayi thanked the agency for the laudable program.
Presidents of the award winning students, Kemi Oluwajana, Oreoluwa Kehinde and Sampraise Olorunda appreciated the Federal Government for initiating the competition.
Eleven Schools participated in the second edition of the NOA integrity clubs competition awards for schools to commemorate Nigeria’s 62nd independence Anniversary.
