The maiden edition of Professor Emmanuel Fasakin’s inter-school football competition of the Federal Polytechnic Ile Oluji has ended with the School of Business & Management Studies defeating the School of Engineering by 4 goals to nil.
Fans who watched the final of the football match included the rector , Professor Fasakin , members of management , staff , students and other soccer fans.
In a remark, Prof. Fasakin who appreciated the Polytechnic community for inaugurating the football competition in his honour harped on sustaining the football competition.
He equally thanked the Management team for their massive support and cooperation resulting in the notable performance of the federal polytechnic Ile oluji.
The winning team was later presented with a golden cup after their players had been decorated with medals .
The 2nd edition of Professor Emmanuel Fasakin’s inter-school football competition holds in 2024.
