Nine passengers have been killed in a multiple road crash that occurred at Idodo Junction of Enugu-Abakaliki Expressway.
The Sector Commander Federal Road Safety Corps Ebonyi State, Mrs Uche Chukwura in a statement explained that the crash involved a Toyota Sienna, a Commercial Bus and a Truck.
She attributed the accident to wrong overtaking emphasising that seven passengers died instantly and were deposited in a mortuary at Idodo while two others who were rushed to Alex Ekwueme Federal University Teaching Hospital Abakaliki but could not make it.
She noted that four other passengers who survived the accident were receiving treatment at the Hospital.
