Zamfara State governor, Bello Mohammed Matawalle has received the Torch of Unity for the 21st Edition of the National Sports Festival tagged ” DELTA 2022 at the Government House, Gusau.
The governor also joined the march along Government House road on delivering the torch of unity movement organised by the Federal Ministry of Youths and Sports Development.
He commended the effort of the Federal Ministry of Youth and Sports Development as well as the various Committees for their commitment towards ensuring the successful hosting of the Games.
Matawalle further assured Zamfara State Athletes of government’s support and Sponsorship to the National Sports Festival coming up in Delta State.
In a remark, the representative of the Federal Ministry of Youths and Sports Development, who is also the Northwest Zonal Coordinator of Youths and Sports Development Muhammad Kabir Datti told the Governor that the Torch of Unity movement symbolizes the participation of the State at the Forthcoming National Sports Festival.
