Radio Nigeria Positive FM has been awarded the culture heritage station by Dingi Oodua Yoruba Magazine.
The station’s head of ICT , Mr Lanre Oluwateru also got the award of excellence as most versatile ICT expert at the event unveiling the Yoruba magazine.
The guest speaker , Dr Dosu Fatomilola charged yoruba parents not to relent in teaching their children the language and culture.
Dingi Oodua publisher , Mr Sunday Agbaje described the magazine as outstanding due to its local content and grassroots touch.
In a remark , the general manager , positve FM Akure , Mrs Olubunmi Olalere represented by Manager Program , Mr Sunkanmi Taiwo thanked the organizers for the award and the station’s assistance publicising the magazine.
Responding to the award , Mr Oluwateru said the award would spur him to continue to do more to promote the Yoruba culture.
Dignitaries on the occasion included ,the chief imam of Akureland , Alhaji Abdulhakeem Yayi Akorede, Asamo Of Akure, High Chief Rotimi olusanya and others .
