The Onibuji of Ibuji kingdom in Ifedore local government area of Ondo state, Oba Folagbade Ojo has congratulated former OSOPADEC Chairman, Hon. Gbenga Edema, Esq, on his appointment as Ondo State representative on the board of the Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC.
In a statement signed by the monarch, Oba Ojo described the appointment as well deserved considering the antecedents and track records of Hon Edema in previous positions he had occupied.
He expressed confidence in the ability of the former OSOPADEC boss to make Ondo State benefit immensely from the NDDC.
“Hon Gbenga Edema is a trusted politician and technocrat, his love for his people and Ondo state in general has never been in doubt and I trust him to represent the interest of the state well on the board of the NDDC” the monarch submitted.
Oba Ojo urged the appointee to ensure quality representation because to whom much is given, much is equally expected.
He wished Hon Gbenga Edema the best of luck as he prepares for screening exercise at the Senate and expressed confidence that he would excel in his new position and make everyone proud as he has always done.
The Onibuji said “I’m sure that the screening exercise will be a work over for Hon Edema because of the stuff he’s made of, I wish him success as he proves himself to be a worthy ambassador of our dear sunshine state”
Oba Ojo equally appreciated Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu for nominating Hon Edema describing the gesture as heart-warming.
