Associates, friends, families and staff of positive F.M have celebrated the former General Manager of the station, Asiwaju Tunde Abiodun who recently retired from the services of the federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria.

The send off ceremony for the retired deputy director, FRCN,  popularly known S.T started with ife Panegyric-oriki for the Ile-ife, Osun state born veteran journalist.

In an Opening speech, the General manager, Mrs Olubunmi Olalere described Asiwaju Abiodun as a living legend who would be remembered for his doggedness.

The deputy director news and current affairs, Radio Nigeria Ibadan, Mr Adewunmi Faniran asked staff for maximum cooperation with the General Manager the way they supported her predecessor, Mrs Olalere.

In their goodwill messages, Positive F.M ambassador, and Psquare CEO, Mrs . Olayinka Micheal, Managing director, goodness hall and event centre, Prince Bisi Gold, coordinator Positive F.M Radio family, Reverend Johnson Olowo and the iyaloja Iralepo Isikan, Chief Mrs Titilayo Adesewa all described S.T Abiodun as a unique leader.

Three Members of Staff, Mrs Bukola Bardi, Mr Micheal Akanbi and Mrs Busola Oladimeji also praised the leadership qualities of Mr Abiodun.

Responding, Asiwaju Abiodun beaming with smiles appreciated all members and staff for their support during his tenure despite some challenges.

The occasion was also used to unveil the positive f.m 2022 father christmas show.

Pupils of Total Child Academy, Adebowale Akure were on hand to welcome the father christmas who showered them with bountiful gifts sponsored by the secretary to the state government, Princess Oladunni Odu.

Two of the pupils, Kathrine Ogundare and wisdom monday appreciated Positive FM for giving them the privilege of receiving gifts from father christmas.

Speaking on the Occasion, the General Manager, Mrs Olalere said the festive season of christmas symbolized love of God to mankind which was expected to be shared with other people.
