The Labour Party has set up reconciliatory Committee to reconcile aggrieved members of the party.

Speaking with journalists in Abuja, the Chief Spokesperson of the Labour Party Presidential Campaign Council, Dr Yunusa Tanko, explained that the Security, Peace and Conflict resolution Committee becomes necessary to address some misgivings and internal crisis in the party.

The Labour Party Presidential Campaign Council appealed to all members of the party to set aside their grievances and allowed internal mechanisms set up by the party for the purpose of peaceful resolution to achieve its mandates.

According to Dr Yunusa Tanko, the eleven man Committee is expected to handle all grievances of the members before general election to ensure smooth victory for Mr Peter Obi and Datti Baba-Ahmed in the 2023 elections.

The Chairman of the Committee Mr. Friday Toyin Ibadin said the committee would give equal and fair opportunity to every aggrieved member of the party and it shall be treated accordingly.

Mr Friday Toyin Ibadin said Nigerians should expect more stronger United Labour Party that is ever ready to meet the yearnings and aspirations of the citizens when voted into power in the 2023 elections.
