Lovers and well-wishers of Tinubu / Shettima for Presidency yesterday locked down roads in Akure as they joined political stalwarts from the Tinubu Independent Action Movement, TIAM for the trek for Tinubu.
The trek was spiced up by popular Tricycle and motorcycle demonstration riders with road safety corps ,the Police, civil defence corps ,DSS and other security agents maintaining law and order
The trek which began from Fiwasaye roundabouts and Roadblocks terminated at Akure city hall
Led by the TIAM chairman Senator Tayo Alasoadura, vice chairman , Senator Ajayi Boroffice, Chief Olusola Oke among other APC leaders, the political group encouraged Ondo residents to begin door to door campaign for the APC presidential candidate Senator Bola Tinubu
Senator Alasoadura and chief Oke described Tinubu as a selfless political leader whose experience in politics would turn the country around
Senator Boroffice said TIAM, the independent political platform was formed to work for the emergence of Tinubu believing he had the capacity to replicate his achievements in Lagos across the country
The political stalwarts also expressed that the Tinubu administration would address rising youth unemployment and check insecurity #
