Ondo State Governor, Mr Oluwarotimi Akeredolu has signed the 2023 appropriation bill into Law.
At the ceremony held at the Exco Chambers , Governor’s office in Akure , Governor Akeredolu said the Budget, tagged “Budget of Shared Prosperity”, was prepared from inputs garnered from the people during town hall meetings held with various Stakeholders across the state.
He appreciated the members of the house of assembly, members of the state executive council, dedicated technocrats who continued to improve on the existing standards in the state.
Earlier, the Speaker of the house of assembly, Mr Bamidele Oleyelogun, while presenting the 2023 appropriation bill to the Governor, commended the administration for according priority to all sectors of the economy in the State.
Of the one hundred and seventy three billion,one hundred and thirty nine million naira budget ,N129, 839 billion, representing 47 percent of the total budget is to cater for recurrent expenditure, while N146,140 billion, representing 52.99 percent is for Capital development.
