The palace of Deji of Akure, Oba Aladetoyinbo Ogunlade Aladelusi, Odundun II was agog on Thursday as dignitaries from all walks of life graced the occasion of this year’s service of three lessons and carol.
At the beautifully dressed palace, Emeralds choir rendered different carol songs to the admiration of guests that attended the event.
During a homily, Pastor Goke Adesida of the Redeemed Christian Church Of God, RCCG preached on the topic titled “Prince of peace”, said Jesus Christ is the prince of peace, therefore the people of Akure should embrace peace to fastrack development in the community.
Speaking at the event, the Deji and paramount ruler of Akureland, Oba Aladetoyinbo Ogunlade Aladelusi appreciated God for His grace upon him and the land.
Oba Aladetoyinbo used the avenue to appreciate Ondo State Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu for elevating some of the Olus in Akure speaking communities to the status of recognised royal fathers.
In attendance was the General Manager Positive FM, Akure Mrs. Olubunmi Olalere represented by the head of ICT Unit, Mr. Olanrewaju Oluwateru.
All Akure senior high chiefs, Prominents Akure sons and daughters were also in attendance.
