The PDP National Working Committee , NWC has approved the appointment of Mr Sadiq Obanoyen as Chairman of Ekiti State PDP Caretaker Committee.
The Caretaker Committee is to run the affairs of the Party in the State for a period of three (3) months effective from Friday, January 20, 2023
This follows the dissolution of Ekiti State Executive Committee by the NWC following recent developments in the State chapter of the party.
A statement from the National Publicity Secretary, Debo Ologunagba says the decisions were taken after careful deliberations and extensive consultations on behalf of the National Executive Committee , NEC in line with some sections of the PDP Constitution.
It urges all leaders, critical stakeholders and teeming members of the PDP in Ekiti State to remain united and focused on the task ahead.
Mr Obanoyen is a thorough-bred politician that hails from Ondo State and former House of Representatives candidate under the platform of People’s Democratic Party representing Owo/ Ose federal constituency.
