Ondo State Governor, Mr Oluwarotimi Akeredolu has presented instrument and Staff of Office to the new Olose of Ose-Owo, His Royal Highness, Oba Moses Adegboyega, Asolo 1, in Owo local government Council.
Performing the ceremony at the Stephen Primary School field, Ose, Governor Akeredolu who was represented by the Commissioner for local government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Mr. Amodi Takuro, congratulated the new monarch and the entire Ose-Owo Community for the landmark development.
He noted that the decision on the new monarch became imperative following the outcome of Chieftaincy commission committee set up on the elevatation of some community Heads to the position of Obas in Ondo State.
In a welcome address, the Chairman Owo local government Council, Chief Samuel Adegbegi, who was represented at the occasion by the Secretary to the local government, Pastor Taiwo Adako, also congratulated the new olose of Ose-Owo and the entire Ose-Owo Community for the new elevation into the Council of Obas in Owo local government Area.
Reacting after receiving the instrument and Staff of Office, His Royal Highness, Oba Moses Adegboyega Asolo 1, thanked Ondo State Governor Akeredolu and his entire cabinet members for the approval of his status as one of the Obas in Owo local government area, saying the entire Asolo Olose will ever remain grateful.
Oba, Adegboyega also thanked the Management of Owo local government Council for the process of tinstrument and their support.
The occasion was attended by traditional rulers from within Owo council area and representative of Olubaka of Oka-Akoko, His Royal Majesty Oba Adebori Adeleye.
