Presidential Candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Friday led
hundreds of his supporters and political leaders across the country to the palace of Ewi of Ado Ekiti in Ekiti state to receive royal blessings from the Traditional Rulers, Religious Leaders Chiefs and Market women for peaceful conduct of next month general election and his total victory.
Some of the Leaders are APC first Interim National Chairman Chief Bisi Akande, first Executive Governor in Ekiti, Otunba Niyi Adebayo, Immediate Past Governor, Dr Kayode Fayemi, Senators, Members House of Representatives, AP.C Women Leaders, among other.
In his address, the Presidential Candidate Asiwaju Tinubu sought the support and cooperation of traditional rulers and Religious Leaders in Ekiti to bring about meaningful changes across the country.
Asiwaju Tinubu explained that his interest to contest the presidential position was borne out of his passion to address the current economic, security problems and other challenges bedeviling the country.
He pointed out that if the people really want power to shift to the Southwest, electorate must be ready to vote, support and canvass for his ambition.
Asiwaju Tinubu who promised to address infrastructural decay, ensure stable power supply, provide job opportunities, make life meaningful to the masses , if his ambition comes into a reality, pleaded with Nigerians not to loss hope .
Earlier, the Ekiti State Governor, Mr Biodun Oyebanji had urged the traditional and religious leaders to rally support for the emergence of Asiwaju Tinubu as Nigerian next president.
Mr Oyebanji pointed that if Asiwaju Tinubu emerged, the president, it would be easier for him to approach government at the national level for help and economic development in Ekiti.
In their responses, the Chairman, Ekiti State Council of Traditional Rulers who doubles as the ONISAN of Isan Ekiti, Oba Gabriel Adejuwon and Ewi of Ado Ekiti Oba Adeyemo Adejugbe charged the APC Presidential Candidate not to reneged on his campaign promises, if elected.
Both the religious and traditional Leaders prayed God to give Asiwaju Tinubu total victory in the forthcoming election and the wherewithal to rescue Nigeria from the current economic and security challenges.
