The Independent National Electoral Commission , INEC is today conducting mock accreditations nationwide with the Bimodal Voter Accreditation System , BIVAS.
The exercise is in furtherance evaluation of the technical evaluation of the device which is part of preparations for the forthcoming general election.
According to a statement from the head of voter education and publicity , INEC Ondo State , Mrs Olufunke Segun-Osifeso , two polling units in two Council areas in each of the Senatorial districts in the state have been selected for the exercise.
In Ondo Central senatorial district , the mock accreditation holds at Sacred Heart Primary School and
St. Stephen Primary School, Ijomu both in Akure south local government area while in Ondo West Council area , the exercise holds at St Patrick’s primary school, Olorunsola and Salvation Army Primary School Odojomu.
For Ondo north senatorial district ,it is taking place at Chief Olisas House and Oja Ugbe in Akoko north east , also at Methodist Primary School, Fajuyi Road and LGA health centre inside Mapo hall in Owo council area.
The exercise holds in the South senatorial district at LA school, Igbekeboa nd Salvation Army School, Igbobini in Ese-Odo council area and in Okitipupa local government area at St Dominic Primary School, Ayeka and Ojomo/Kajola, U.N.A Primary School.
