Every day they say is for the thief but one day is for the owner goes a popular saying.
This adage came to the fore on Saturday at akala Express Oríta challenge area of ibadan when a young man was allegedl caught while allegedly trying to steal a car.
The man whose age was between 25 and 30yrs was alleged to have used a master key with him to open a Lexus jeep car parked at the frontage of the shop of the car owner.
The owner of the car who did not want her name mentioned, explained that she was sleeping in her shop but woke up suddenly to find the suspect trying to steal a car she claimed to have locked.
She said other shops owners immediately came to her assistance in dragging the suspect out of the car after raising alarm
The suspect who claimed to be an indigene of Lagos state denied the allegation saying he didnt know how he found himself in ibadan.
The suspect was later dragged to the road median, a situation which attracted huge crowd to the scene.
The suspect was later taken to oríta challenge police station .
Meanwhile the police public relations officer in Oyo state Adéwálé Oshifeso is yet to respond to the incident
