Another fuel-laden tanker has exploded along Benin/Ore expressway on Wednesday.
The explosion which started at the early hours on Wednesday was caused by a tyre burst.
An eyewitness who spoke with The Hope under the condition of anonymity said the explosion started when the tanker was plying the bridge.
The driver was said to have sustained several degree of burns due to the explosion.
The Federal Road Safety Corps unit commander in Ore, Mr Sikiru Alonge while confirming the incident said the injured persons have been rushed to the hospital for treatment.
Two vehicles were involved, they want to overtake themselves while driving, this led to tyre burst and exploded in the process.
The explosion has caused gridlock on the expressway.
