Super Eagles coach Jose Paseiro says his major target is to win the next African cup of Nations with the super Eagles of Nigeria.

The next African cup of Nations will hold in ivory coast next year.

Coach Paseiro stated during his visit to the Akure sports complex to watch one of the Nigeria professional football league NPFL match day seven between sunshine stars and visiting Niger Tornadoes of Mina.

The former Venezuela and Saudi Arabia coach while commenting on the Nigerian league said the current league has improved and promised to watch more matches at other venues with aim of identifying some potentials after watching his first NPFL game in Ilorin.

Coach Paseiro said all stakeholders must be ready to support the national team and that he he is much ready to impact,learn and adapt to the Nigerian environment.

Coach Paseiro said so far he has enjoyed good working relationship with Nigerians,the media and the Nigerian players and described domestic footballers as talented players but appealed for more improvement in the area of welfare,infrastructure at match centres accros the country for speedy development.

At the end of the ninety minute of play,Sunshine stars defeated Niger Tornadoes by 2-0 and the Owena Whales will next travel to Uyo to face Dakkada FC
