Towards finding lasting solution to the Ikare Akoko crises, the Ondo State Government has set up a Five man Committee to look into the remote causes of the crises and profer lasting solution to them.
The Commisioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Alhaji Amidu Takuro in a statement signed by the Parmanent Secretary of the Ministry, Mr Oladele Adesanmi said the government is disturbed by the incessant crises rocking Okoja Quarters and Oloko Intercession as this is inimical to the peace and welbeing of the people.
Alhaji Takuro said relevant stakeholders are requested to forward Memoranda to the Committee on percieved causes of the crisis, particularly as it affects Okoja Quarters and Oloko Intercession.
These Memorada which should reach the committee latest by Tuesday 21st February, 2023, should be submitted to the Office of the Parmanent Secretary of the Ministry.
In the meantime, the Commissioner appeals to all parties to stealth their swords and let there be peace.
