Ahead of the general election , Junior Chambers International JCI Akure Chapter has sensitized market women and men alongside their customers to use their Permanent Voter’s Card PVC and vote willingly for candidates of their choice.
The President , Princess Abimbola Odoginyon led the sensitization program tagged ” Vote , Not Fight ” at NEPA II Neighborhood Market, Akure.
Princess Odoginyon while speaking on the project “PEACE IS POSSIBLE”, told the market men and women that their PVC was another recognized national identity card
She also enlightened them on what was expected of them as citizens of Nigeria before, during and after the elections.
Princess Odoginyon pleaded with the traders and other Nigerians especially Traders to exercise their franchise in peace and not in rancour.
In a remark, the Iyaloja of NEPA II Neighborhood Market, Akure, Mrs. ADEBIYI BEATRICE, thanked JCI Akure Chapter for organizing the sensitization and urged the traders to encourage their children to join JCI collegiate in the schools.
