The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in the just concluded election, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, has asked his supporters not to despair assuring them that the battle to retrieve what he called their stolen mandate was on the way.
Alhaji Atiku who spoke through the Director Public Affairs of the PDP Presidential Campaign Council, Senator Dino Melaye, in Abuja urged all Atiku’s supporters all over the world not be perturbed.
Senator Dino quoted a Bible passage, saying “Weeping may tarry till night but joy cometh in the morning.
‘This grave injustice shall not stand” he maintained.
According to him, the battle to retrieve the alleged stolen mandate is a battle of no retreat, no surrender.
” We shall overcome.”
He spoke in reference to the announcement of the candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Ahmed Tinubu as winner of the last Saturday’s Presidential election by the Independent National Electoral Commission.
