The National Orientation Agency , NOA has asked Nigerians to conduct themselves peacefully irrespective of their political affiliations during the next week governorship and house of assembly elections.

Ondo state NOA director , Mrs Adelayo Adefolalu made the appeal at the sensitisation campaign for a free , fair and credible last lap of the 2023 elections held at ilutitun in okitipupa council area.

She charged the people to be agents of positive change in the society by turning up to vote for candidates of their choice, avoid vote buying and vote correctly on the ballot paper to prevent void votes.

Mrs Adefolalu also enumerated several life changing programmes of the federal government which included NPOWER, trader moni and others which she said would help in boosting their businesses.

In a remark , NOA coordinator for Okitipupa council , Mrs Bola Oguntuase told the participants that more economic empowerment programmes designed to make life better for the citizenry would soon be rolled out.

Speaking with radio Nigeria, president Ilutitun youth development forum Comrade Akintade Omokunle appreciated NOA for the sensitisation programme saying that the youths had been more enlightened on the dangers of engaging in Electoral violence .

He promised to further create the awareness among the youths on the gains of peaceful conduct in the community.

Another participant , Mr Jegede Eniola said he was impressed by the conduct of the people in the February 25th Election expressing the hope that the next election would also be orderly based on the sensitisation programme by NOA.

Farmers, market women,youths and the elderly from Ilutitun community in okitipupa local government area participated actively in the programme.
