Ondo state government has distributed Cheques to the victims of Tanker Fire incident in Odode Idanre.
The cheque distribution was implemented under the State emergency management Agency program
The fire incident which occured on the 18th February 2023 in Odode Idanre happened while a tanker was offloading PMS .
Distributing the cheques,the Deputy Governor , Lucky Ayedatiwa said the gesture was aimed at cushioning the effect of the hardship the incident has posed on the victim affected.
The Deputy governor assured the people that the government would continue to prioritize the welfare of the people .
The chairman of Idanre local government,Chief kayode Aroloye appreciated the governor for the overwhelming support from the government to ease the suffering of the victim.
Those who benefited from the gesture Mr Ojo Ayenigba,Mr olabode Adenigba ,Mrs Williams olasumbo and Mr Raphael Akinpelu said they lost all their valuables to the incident appreciated government for the kind gesture .
The Deputy Governor later proceeded to Ilaramokin in ifedore local government to inspect some Facilities affected with Rainstorm in the town
