The independent national electoral commission, INEC has begun the distribution of materials for the state house of assembly elections holding on Saturday.
The electoral materials included ballot papers, result sheets and BIVAS.
Addressing newsmen at the central bank of Nigeria in Akure, venue for the distribution, the administrative secretary of INEC in Ondo State, Mr Oyekola Oyelami said Inec would not decline in the conduct of credible, free and fair elections.
Mr Oyelami gave explained that INEC commenced distribution of the materials to ensure that it cut across the eighteen council areas of the state as timely as possible.
At the distribution venue were political party leaderships including the chairman, interparty advisory council, IPAC Prince Olaoluwa Adesanya, Fredrick Akinuli of A.A, PDP collation agent, Reverend Kola Adeyemi an d ADC state chairman, Olaide Ibrahim who all expressed satisfaction over the electoral materials.
The political representatives also pledged to ensure safe distribution of the Electoral materials to their various destinations.
