Three trucks have been arrested by the Election Monitoring Team comprising the INEC Resident Electoral Commissioner, REC and Inter-Agency Consultative Committee on Election Security ICCES.
The trucks covered with Tapurline were said to be coming from the northern part of the country.
The Acting Resident Electoral Commissioner, REC, Mr Oyekola Oyelami said the trucks were arrested for violating the “No Vehicular Movement” order of the Inspector-General of Police.
The vehicles have been impounded at premises of the Police Special Anti-Cultist Squad.
Giv8nf assessment of the election, Mr Oyelami who is the Administrative Secretary of the Commission in Ondo State, expressed delight over the peaceful conduct of the exercise.
On the issue of turn out of voters, Mr Oyelami said the process would be evaluated later to ascertain the level of aparthy.
The ICCES Monitoring Team include the Police, Military, Nigeria Immigration Service, EFCC, NOA and NDLEA.
The team visited Akure South, Akure North and Ifedore Local Government Areas of the state.
