…..as Alumni Association leadership submits Awosusi’s Report

The Pro-Chancellor/Chairman, Governing Council, Ekiti State University, EKSU, Ado-Ekiti, Prof Akin Oyebode says he will do everything within his capacity to ensure the advancement of the citadel of learning.
Prof. Oyebode stated this when he received the Global leadership of the EKSU Alumni Association led by the duo of BOT Chairman, Dr Wale Jegede and the Global President, Engr Dipo Bamisaye, fnse, fnice at his Lagos residence on courtesy visit and to deliver a copy of the Awosusi’s Report on the University as directed by the Visitor to the University, Governor Biodun Oyebanji.
The Emeritus Professor, while responding to presentation of the team, alluded to his experience during and after his tenure as the Vice Chancellor of the University, explaining a good number of ways the University has positively impacted his life.
Prof Oyebode who commended the developmental approach to state issues of Governor Biodun Abayomi, expressed believes that his appointment as the Pro Chancellor and Chairman of Governing Council is divine and promised to carry out the assignment with great assurance.
The team explored the opportunity to physically congratulate the Pro-Chancellor on his appointment and expressed hope that the Governing Council would consider the Report on its merits for possible implementation in the University.
The report, which is a product of a Committee of stakeholders set up by the Alumni Association, ex-rayed the challenges facing the University and proffered workable solutions to them.
The visiting team also have in attendance BOT Secretary, Dr Oludotun Adetunberu, Global Secretary, Pst Akinleye Isaac and the Chairman of the Lagos State Chapter of the Association, Mr Tolu Egbeyemi.
The Emeritus Professor was the Vice Chancellor of the University from year 2000 to 2003.
