Ekiti Alumni donates N15m digitized Transcripts processing unit to institution

The Ekiti State University, EKSU, Ado-Ekiti Alumni Association has donated a digitized Transcripts processing unit to the institution.
The aim is to expedite Transcripts and Certificates processing in the institution.
The Global President, Engr Dipo Bamisaye in company with BOT Chairman, Dr Wale Jegede, Chairman, Eminent Persons Group, EPG, Dr Tope Fasua and other leadership of the Alumni Association witnessed the presentation at the dedicated room in the University for the Transcripts Processing Unit.
Presenting the Ultra-Modern Computer System with latest technology, the Chairman of EPG, Dr Tope Fasua said the move was to alleviate the sufferings of members of the Alumni Association during Transcripts processing.
Dr Fasua noted that some graduates of the Ekiti State University often found it difficult getting their Transcripts and some have missed postgraduate admissions within home and abroad due to the poor processing procedures.
The BOT Chairman, Dr Wale Jegede on his part said the donation became imperative in order to meet up with international best practices.
In a remark, the Alumni Global President, Engr Dipo Bamisaye stated that the donation was an additional one to previously donated laptops to the Transcripts processing unit and promised that the Alumni would do more in contributing to the advancement of the University.
Engr Bamisaye adds that the institution will still witness more transformation.
Receiving the equipments, the Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof Edward Olanipekun expresses appreciation for the gesture.
Prof Olanipekun while emphasizing the significant roles of Alumni Association in the development of higher institutions promised judicious use of the equipment.
The Vice Chancellor however warned the Transcripts Processing Unit Directorate not to divert the purpose of the equipment.
The equipment when put to use accordingly will ease the burden of members at processing their Transcripts and certificates.
